Project Overview
The Olene Gap Geothermal Energy and Data Center Project is located in Klamath County, Oregon, approximately 9–10 miles east of Klamath Falls. The project area provides space for geothermal generation, wellfield facilities, electrical infrastructure and potential co-located data-center development.
The current strategy is phased, beginning with approximately 5 MW of geothermal generation and expanding to 10 MW and more, subject to final resource confirmation, engineering, permitting, financing and commercial arrangements.

Understanding P90 and P10
P90 is the more conservative, higher-confidence case: in standard exceedance terminology, there is about a 90% probability that the actual resource measure will equal or exceed the P90 estimate. P10 is the larger, more optimistic case: there is about a 10% probability that the actual resource measure will equal or exceed the P10 estimate. The two cases illustrate a probabilistic range; they are not guarantees of plant output.
Existing well information
OG-1 was drilled to approximately 3,775 feet and recorded temperatures of approximately 250°F. Testing and evaluation indicated strong permeability and injectivity characteristics, supporting the case for further wellfield development.
Additional production and injection drilling, testing and engineering will be required as the project proceeds toward commercial operation.
Why the existing work matters
The Olene Gap project is not beginning with a desktop concept. Existing drilling, test data, resource studies and project-development work can be reviewed to determine precisely what additional work is needed for the next phase.
